Membership Categories / Levels


Student / Senior Membership  
  • Open to students enrolled in Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Forestry, Landscape, Architecture, or other related fields.  Student Members are required to provide proof of status by means of Student ID Card or an Advisor's Signature.  (This Member level is listed on our Hire An Arborist / Membership Directory Page, receives a Membership ID Card, and can participate in the Member Incentive Program.)

Individual Membership

  • Open to Arborist, Tree Care Worker, Consultant, Tree Enthusiast, etc.  (This Member level is listed on our Hire An Arborist / Membership Directory Page, receives a Membership ID Card, and can participate in the Member Incentive Program.)
Notable Achievement Membership 
  • Notable Achievement Memberships are awarded to those individuals who have made Notable Achievements in our Association.  These Members include recipients of the Kim Coder Award (they are awarded a Free Lifetime membership to the Association), and The Georgia First Place Winner of the Annual Tree Climbing Championship (they are awarded a Free 1 year Individual Membership to the Association).

Corporate Membership

  • Open to Companies who want to pledge greater financial support for the Association and it's activities.  (This Member level is listed on our Hire An Arborist / Membership Directory Page with Logo and website link, receives a Membership ID Card, and can participate in the Member Incentive Program.)

Sustaining Membership 

  • For a company, individual or foundations that wants to pledge greater financial support for the association and its activities.  (This Member level is listed on our Hire An Arborist / Membership Directory Page with Logo and website link, receives a Membership ID Card, and can participate in the Member Incentive Program.)
Vendor / Supplier Membership
  • A company or companies that sell products and / or services related to the tree care industry or are simply interested in trees and their care.   (This Member level is listed on our Hire An Arborist / Membership Directory Page with Logo and website link, receives a Membership ID Card, and can participate in the Member Incentive Program.)
