ARBORIST CERTIFICATION REVIEW CLASS

Location: The Kistner Center, 2689 Lenora Road, Snellville, GA 30339

This GUFC course will provide a “Cliff Notes” intensive study and review of the ISA Arborist Certification. Taught by Nancy Lovingood, a certified arborist, the class will cover the ten content areas of the test. Through videos and discussion students will become knowledgeable about tree care, tree culture, pest diagnosis, and proper management. Class discussions assist with the course content.
(The actual certification exam will be offered in Gwinnett County to class participants in Spring 2012. You must qualify for the test through ISA. However, the tree care and culture information you will receive in this class is important and valuable, whether or not you take the test.)

Registration: $20 GUFC members, $30 non-members
Register at www.gufc.org

The optional text (Arborist’s Certification Study Guide) is from International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). You may bring your own copy or purchase your own copy through the instructor the first night of class ($90). Please let GUFC know in advance if you would like to purchase the text from the instructor by sending an e-mail to marylynne@gufc.org
