Welcome to our tree care blog for homeowners
Georgia Arborist Association (GAA) Blog Guidelines
The GAA blog aims to inform homeowners and arborists across Georgia about emerging and relevant tree-related issues. Articles should align with the organization’s mission by being timely, educational, and actionable.
Content Requirements:
- Actionable & Informative: Blog content should provide specific guidance, enabling homeowners and arborists to make informed decisions about tree care.
- Visuals: Each blog post must include at least one photo. Photos may feature company logos on apparel or equipment but should not prominently display branding elements for any specific company.
- Brand Neutrality: Posts should not promote or endorse specific companies, products, or brands. Content should remain impartial.
- Length & Credibility: Articles must be at least 500 words and include citations from credible sources such as universities, the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), or other peer-reviewed materials.
- Call to Action: Each article should include a clear next step for readers, whether it's seeking professional guidance, implementing a best practice, or learning more from reputable sources.
- Human-Created Content: Blog posts must be written by a person. AI may be used for editing and improving clarity but not for generating original content.
These guidelines ensure the GAA blog remains a trusted and valuable resource for the Georgia tree care community.
