As we continue to grow, we are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Plant Health Care (PHC) Specialist to join our team. 

Position Overview: As a Plant Health Care Specialist, you will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and preventing pest, disease, and nutrient issues in trees, shrubs, and other landscape plants. You will work closely with arborists, technicians, and clients to implement science-based solutions that promote long-term plant health. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Inspect trees and shrubs to identify insect, disease, and environmental issues 

  • Recommend and apply appropriate treatments (e.g., soil injections, trunk injections, foliar sprays) 

  • Monitor plant health and treatment effectiveness over time 

  • Maintain detailed records of observations, applications, and customer interactions 

  • Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently 

  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members about plant care plans and services 

  • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging threats, and PHC technologies 

Qualifications: 

  • Degree or coursework in horticulture, arboriculture, plant science, or related field preferred 

  • 1–2 years of experience in plant health care or a related industry 

  • ISA Certified Arborist or ability to obtain certification preferred 

  • State Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain 

  • Strong knowledge of local plant species, pests, and diseases 

  • Ability to work independently outdoors in various weather conditions 

  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills 

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
